Before you ask. (aka FAQ)
Pulp is a private community for queer, lesbian, bi and curious women, trans and non-binary people to meet in real life. We help you find people around you spontaneously.
We're building. Follow us on Instagram to know when the doors open.
For the initial phase: Berlin only. From there, we will slowly expand the movement to other cities. Where should we come next? Join the waitlist and tell us.
By invitation. You get in by invitation. Some invitations go to people on the waitlist. You can also get an invitation code from an existing member.
For now, Pulp is a web app, not a native app findable through the app store. You access the app through our website but can add it to your phone screen to use it like a native app. Because it is a web app, your distance from other users only updates when you open Pulp. A native app is where we are heading, and every membership brings us closer to building it.
You directly go to their profile and select the message button at the bottom.
Pulp has your approximate location but never shares it on the app. In the app, we only show other users the distance between you and them, at 500m increments.
Tap "report" on their profile. A real person on our team reviews every report. You can also block anyone instantly, and they are never told.
Safety matters a lot to us. Your data is stored in Europe, and we only keep the information you give us. We work on a minimal basis, which means we only store what the app needs to function. Besides, we automatically encrypts all data before it is written to disk. We are strongly committed to never selling your data.
